If you haven’t seen my main blog post, we are leaving Erie. Therefore, I will not be posting any more workouts on here until after we move and I start working out again. Until then, Merry Christmas and Happy New year!
While I did not do my normal Jazzercise today, I DID get a 3 hour cardio workout in…by shoveling snow! Needless to say I am soooooo sore today. It was a great workout!
I’m going out on a limb here and posting pics of myself as I am right now. I wish I had taken pics of myself 9 pounds ago, but oh, well. This is really hard to do, so go easy on me. I just want to use them as a reference point from here on out.


Here’s today’s workout:
- 5 minutes stretching
- 10 minutes cardio
- 10 minutes strength
- 5 minutes stretching
Back to it today. Jazzercisin’ my little heart out. It was a great workout, too. I’m still wondering, though, if an exertube would be better in terms of more resistance than my handheld weights. I think I’m about ready to move up to 10 pound weights. The 5 pounders don’t seem to be doing it for me anymore.
Anyway, here’s today’s workout:

- 10 minutes strength
- 5 minutes stretching
I regret that I’ve been neglecting this workout blog lately. When I’ve been able to workout, I haven’t had time to post anything. I won’t bore you (or frazzle me) with trying to go back and fill in all the missing workouts. No, I didn’t work out every day, but I’ve done some.
I’ll try to post more often on here, as I workout through the end of the year. I can’t make any promises, but I’ll try.
I took it easy today, like I anticipated. I’m feeling very good, considering, but I took it easy, anyway. I hope to be back to exercising tomorrow. Possibly Yoga tomorrow morning, since that would still be easy. I hesitate to do too much vigorous exercise for fear that the wounds will start bleeding again. But by tomorrow, I ought to be ok.
I don’t know if I’ll be able to work out at all this week. I’m having my 2 wisdom teeth pulled today and I can’t make any promises as to when I’ll be feeling well enough to work out. Although, if it goes as smoothly as the last one I had pulled, it shouldn’t be a problem.
My workout blog has been neglected, I know. The good news is that I haven’t stopped working out, even though I haven’t posted. i haven’t worked out every day, though. Things have been so busy here with halloween last week and needing to finish up Zach’s costume, then the never-ending piles of laundry and housework. I figured that, since I was taking down halloween decorations, I might as well clean while I was at it.
Anyway, last week I worked out 2 days. Once to Jazzercise, the other to Fit TV, since CAT was playing some “Meet the candidates” things. This week, I did not work out Tuesday due to having parent/teacher conferences during my usual workout time. Tuesday, I again worked out to something on Fit TV because of the whole candidate thing. Yesterday, it was back to Jazzercise, and today it was Fit TV.
It’s been fun to mix it up a bit . I’m considering trying the Namaste Yoga that Fit TV has on at 8:30 in the mornings. I’ve never done Yoga, but I hear it’s a great workout and I could use some meditation ;)
I haven’t worked out since, well, Monday, I think. I’ve spent the week painting the bathroom and working on making a halloween costume. I guess painting the bathroom counts as exercise, since I was bending and stretching in ways I haven’t in a long time. My back still hurts, even though I was done painting 2 days ago. I’ll get back to Jazzercising on Monday.
Wow, it feels really good to be “back on the wagon,” so to speak. You never realize how much you miss something until you don’t have it or don’t do it. I really missed working out while I was sick. I’m glad I was up-to-snuff enough today to workout. Here’s today’s workout:

- 12 minutes cardio
- 5 minutes strength
- 5 minutes stretching
